Description

Fire and Ice (close up) for [pb]event #09 - Opposites

I hope it fits the abstract category? If not I guess figure should be the one, let me now.

Thank you :) You mean my signature is not visible? I wanted to incorporate it into image to have it signed, but also to not disturb the image with it. I guess I need to find another idea for signature placing then.

Nice idea and really great style. . . .(thumbup)
I would not place the signature "in" the artwork. Maybe its position should be just near the border with a black color font.

I think it fits the abstract catagory very wel. :)
The idea is good. I love how you made the two elements join together. I didn't see there was any figures there untill now! ^^
There's just one thing I'd like to mention... The shading and saturation looks the same everywhere. I feel I'd like to see more volume and that some places stand out more than the rest.
Some more dark and less saturated areas would make the areas that matter stand out more and look more glowing.

Edit: I just saw the original artwork. It looks great. (thumbup)

The text does get lost. i am not sure you want it to show up. The fire effects are really nice.

Thank you all for comments! :)

Regarding the signature - I don't want it to stand out from the image too much, but it has to be in to stay there even after cropping.

SandraS, yes , a few things could be changed, including shading and saturation of the background. I need to learn how to balance details better. Thank you!
